SBSO DEP. BATTAGLIA RECEIVES THANK YOU FROM FANNIE MAE’S OWNER
A special thank-you was recently said to SBSO Dep. Christopher Battaglia by Jessica Brown, the grateful owner of Fannie Mae, the 17-year-old Toy Poodle at the center of a recent theft case.
Dep. Battaglia, of the Field Operations Bureau Patrol Division, was the first deputy on the scene on June 9 when Fannie Mae, who is deaf and partially blind, was stolen during a vehicle theft in Chalmette and went missing for five days.
Thankfully, a good Samaritan recognized Fannie Mae from a flier, and she was safely returned home on June 14.
