SBSO CONGRATULATES MITCHELL ROBINSON ON NBA CHAMPIONSHIP
Sheriff James Pohlmann and the members of the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office congratulate Chalmette High School graduate Mitchell Robinson on helping lead the New York Knicks to the 2026 NBA Championship.
The Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on June 13, 2026, winning the series 4-1 and capturing their first NBA title since 1973.
From the basketball courts of Chalmette High School to the biggest stage in professional basketball, Mitchell’s journey is a testament to hard work, determination and perseverance. His success serves as an inspiration to young athletes throughout our community.
We are proud to call Mitchell one of our own and join all of St. Bernard Parish in celebrating this historic accomplishment.
