SBSO C.O.P.S. FOR CHRISTMAS CHILI COOK OFF WINNERS
Sheriff James Pohlmann and the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate the winners of this year’s C.O.P.S. for Christmas Chili Cook Off fundraiser held Nov. 16.
The St. Bernard Parish Firefighters team won first place bragging rights and also took home the People’s Choice Award. Second place honors went to Chalmette Mobile Tire LLC, and Gerald’s Donuts took home third.
Each year, C.O.P.S. for Christmas supports numerous families across St. Bernard Parish, providing essentials like food, clothing, toiletries, and toys. Thanks to a local business, bicycles are often part of the holiday surprise as well.
The success of this program relies on donations from deputies, community contributions, and fundraisers like the annual chili cook-off.
Thank you to everyone who came out and made this event a great success! Your support will help bring the magic of the season to several families in need this Christmas.
