SBSO ARRESTS CHALMETTE MAN ON SEX CRIMES INVOLVING JUVENILES
The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office arrested a Chalmette man on sex crimes involving juveniles following an investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigations Bureau, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
Ryan Gregoire, 35, of the 2500 block of Veronica Drive in Chalmette, was booked Dec. 19 with two counts of possession of child pornography, and Jan. 30 with two counts of pornography involving juveniles and solicitation for prostitutes.
During the course of a lengthy investigation, detectives learned of several instances of Gregoire’s inappropriate behavior with juveniles, and recovered electronic devices containing relevant material.
The Sheriff said the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
