St. Bernard Parish Update – OCTOBER 7, 2020

Chalmette, LA – Hurricane Delta conditions continue to improve for St. Bernard Parish according to the National Weather Service.
As of 10am CDT, projected rainfalls have been lowered to under 4” and the current storm surge projection has been reduced to 4’ – 6’ for St. Bernard.
Delta landfall is still expected to be late Friday to early Saturday with tropical storm winds reaching St. Bernard by midday Friday.
