St. Bernard Parish Update – OCTOBER 30, 2020

Chalmette, LA – Power is being restored throughout the Parish. As power returns, it is very possible that traffic lights at intersections could be out of “sync”.

– We are asking everyone to be very cautious and on high alert at intersections, even if you have a GREEN light.
– We will be working with DOTD to rectify any issues that arise, as quickly as possible.

– Any resident with portable generators are reminded to turn off their generator as power is restored.
– Back feeding your generator is very dangerous and could cause damage to your home appliances and could cause serious bodily injury or death to yourself or Entergy personnel.
