ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO JACKSON DAY RACE TODAY (JAN. 9)

Road Closures due to the Jackson Day Race

The Jackson Day Race, in connection with the Battle of New Orleans Celebration, will take place on Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in St. Bernard Parish. The race will begin and end at the Aycock Barn, located at 409 Aycock St. There will be road closures on Friscoville Avenue in Old Arabi from North Peters Street to St. Claude Avenue, as well as the eastbound lanes on St. Claude Avenue/St. Bernard Highway from Friscoville Avenue to the Chalmette Battlefield.
