Earlier today, Lt. James Harper of our Corrections Division stopped to help a driver change a flat tire on Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette – a simple act of kindness that reflects not only who we are as an agency, but what our parish is all about.
Sheriff Pohlmann said our deputies don’t just protect our community; they serve it, often in ways the public never sees.
Acts like this remind us that small moments of service can make a big impact on someone in need, and with Thanksgiving tomorrow, it’s a perfect example of the spirit of gratitude and giving.
