The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Louisiana State Police, has been conducting proactive seatbelt checks and radar enforcement throughout the parish, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
These efforts are about one thing – saving lives. Wearing your seatbelt is the simplest way to protect yourself in a crash, and following the speed limit gives you the best chance to react safely to the unexpected.
By working together, SBSO and LSP are reminding drivers that safe habits behind the wheel don’t just keep you out of trouble – they keep our roads safer for everyone.
