PORT OF NEW ORLEANS: St. Claude Avenue Bridge (LA 46) nightly closures Dec. 18-21
As part of an ongoing roadway improvement project on St. Claude Avenue, the LADOTD has announced nighttime roadway closures at the St. Claude Bridge for installation of new traffic gates, as follows:
Full closure of St. Claude Avenue, from Poland Avenue to Reynes Street (all lanes, both directions)
Beginning Sunday, Dec. 18th through Wednesday, Dec. 21st from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night, ending on Thursday, Dec. 22 at 7 a.m.
Alternate routes are the LA 39 Judge Seeber (Claiborne Avenue) Bridge and the Florida Avenue Bridge.
NOTE: No marine vessel delays are anticipated and the pedestrian walkways will remain open.
