NATIONAL POLICE WEEK
May 11th through 17th marks National Police Week β a time to honor the brave men and women who have answered the call to protect and serve.
Established in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy, National Police Week pays special recognition to law enforcement officers across the country who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, as well as those who continue to serve with courage and commitment every day.
Here in St. Bernard Parish, our deputies uphold a proud tradition of service. Whether responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, or building relationships in the community, they work tirelessly to uphold the law and protect the people who call this parish home.
To the men and women of the St. Bernard Sheriffβs Office β thank you for your sacrifice and for your role in helping Sheriff Pohlmann continue βKeeping St. Bernard Safe.β
