Today, on National Police K-9 Day, we’re giving a special shoutout to our very own K-9 Pit and his handler, Narcotics Agent Patrick Clark.
K-9 Pit plays an important role in helping the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office keep our community safe by assisting with the detection of illegal narcotics and supporting deputies during law enforcement operations.
Thank you, K-9 Pit, for your hard work, loyalty and service – and to Agent Clark, who also happens to be our 2026 Deputy of the Year, for the dedication it takes to train, work with and care for his four-legged partner.
