Lt. Billy Cure was honored Tuesday (July 25) evening by the St. Bernard Justice of the Peace and Constables Association for 32 years of dedicated service.
Lt. Cure has spent more than three decades serving the people of St. Bernard Parish. He became a Constable in 1990 when he started on the scooters in SBSO’s Traffic Division.
He has been instrumental in the success of the Sheriff’s Office Business Watch program, a crime prevention program that enlists the active participation of business owners, managers, and employees in cooperation with law enforcement to reduce crime in and around their work environment.
