🚨🚧 FLORIDA AVENUE BRIDGE CLOSURE UPDATE 🚧🚨
According to the Port of New Orleans, the Florida Avenue Bridge will remain closed to vehicular traffic at least through Wednesday, April 30 due to ongoing issues with the bridge control system.
A specialist in bridge control system programming and diagnostics arrived Monday to assist with troubleshooting and repairs. While progress is being made, there is still no confirmed timeline for when the bridge will reopen.
In the meantime, the bridge continues to operate with emergency motors for marine and rail traffic only. Vehicular traffic remains restricted until the control system is fully repaired.

• St. Claude Avenue Bridge (LA 46)
