FLORIDA AVENUE BRIDGE CLOSURE JULY 12 FROM 9-3
From the Port of New Orleans: The Florida Avenue Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. for maintenance.
The bridge will remain open to marine traffic and rail traffic during this closure.
Alternate routes include the Judge Seeber Claiborne Avenue Bridge on LA Hwy 39 and the St. Claude Avenue Bridge on LA Hwy 46.
Note: If the work cannot be performed on July 12 due to inclement weather, the bridge closure will occur during the same hours on Wednesday, July 13 instead.
