Floodgate Closure Information Ahead of Tropical System
St. Bernard Parish has been advised by the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East (SLFPA-East) that the Bienvenue, Dupre, Caernarvon, and IHNC Surge Barrier sector gates are scheduled to close at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow.
At this time, the highway floodgate on LA 46 is expected to remain open. The LA 300 highway gate is scheduled to close.
This information is subject to change as weather conditions evolve. St. Bernard Parish remains in close communication with SLFPA-East and will provide updates to the public as additional information becomes available.
