During National Police Week, May 10–16, 2026, the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office honors the brave men and women in law enforcement who serve and protect our communities each day.
This week serves as both a time of appreciation and a solemn reminder to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Sheriff James Pohlmann extends his gratitude to all deputies, officers and their families for their dedication, courage and commitment to public safety.
“National Police Week is an opportunity to recognize the sacrifices law enforcement officers make every day and honor the fallen heroes who will never be forgotten,” Sheriff Pohlmann said.
