DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE – CALL SBSO FOR A SAFE RIDE HOME

If you’ve had too much to drink during this holiday season, please don’t get behind the wheel. Now through Jan. 2 deputies will once again be offering free, safe rides home – no questions asked.

☎ Call us at (504) 271-2501 and a deputy will:

➡️Drive you home if you live in St. Bernard Parish.
➡️If you live outside the parish, we’ll bring you to a Sheriff’s substation where a friend or family member can pick you up.

🚫 Deputies will not transport anyone to bars, nightclubs, other parties or outside of St. Bernard Parish.

This long-running Holiday Ride Home Program, started in 1986, helps keep our community safe – and that’s something worth celebrating.
