The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying several individuals wanted for attempting to burglarize a Chalmette business, St. Bernard Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
On Wednesday, June 7, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Sheriff Pohlmann said, deputies responded to a call for service in reference to four males who attempted to gain access through a locked front door of a business in the 2900 block of Paris Road in Chalmette.
The four males, all wearing dark hoodies and face masks, were seen leaving the scene in a black 2020 Nissan Rogue SUV.
Anyone knowing the identity and/or whereabouts of these persons, or any other information relating to this incident is asked to call the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office at (504) 271-2501, the Criminal Investigations Bureau’s tip hotline at (504) 271-TIPS or 8477, or Crimestoppers GNO at (504) 822-1111. Callers to the CIB tip hotline or Crimestoppers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash award from Crimestoppers.
