Did you know in Louisiana, there are ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฑ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ถ๐ป๐ท๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐น๐ because of ATV/UTV incidents? And the vast majority of these involve 10- to 14-year-olds.
Last week, the ๐๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ ๐๐ง๐ฉ/๐จ๐ง๐ฉ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ธ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฒ held their statewide kickoff event at the LDWF headquarters in Baton Rouge! This taskforce brings together partners across healthcare, law enforcement, public safety, transportation, agriculture, and other community stakeholders and will work to highlight the growing need for youth ATV/UTV safety education and injury prevention efforts across the state.
