DEPUTIES AND FIREFIGHTERS TREATED TO LUNCH
St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office deputies and firefighters from the St. Bernard Fire Department were honored today for their service and dedication to St. Bernard Parish.
Quentiana Anderson, owner of Lil Weziana’s Soulfood Kitchen & Catering LLC, showed her appreciation to these first responders by serving them a free lunch which included delicious gumbo, fried chicken and fish, refreshments and salad.
Anderson, a St. Bernard native who now resides in Texas, said she wanted to do something nice to honor her hometown heroes during a recent visit home to where she grew up in Violet.
