CRIMESTOPPERSGNO JOINS WITH THE UNITED STATES MARSHALS SERVICE EASTERN DISTRICT OF LOUISIANA NEW ORLEANS TASK FORCE FOR “ OPERATION BOO DAT”
USMS E/LA New Orleans Task Force sponsored operation with Crimestoppers, GNO and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Kenner Police Department, New Orleans Police Department, Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office, St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, and LA Probation and Parole. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) will assist with the operation as needed. Operation Boo Dat 2024 (FY2025) will begin October 22, 2024, and conclude on January 18, 2025. The primary focus will be on wanted registered sex offenders but open sex-based offense fugitives as well as other violent felony offenders will also be worked.
Tier 1 Sex Offenders = 15 years of registration. Tier 2 Sex Offenders = 25 years of registration. Tier 3 Sex Offenders = Lifetime registration
CrimestoppersGNO will be offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information which leads to the arrest of a featured suspect. Tips must be sent anonymously to Crimestoppers on either their hotline (504) 822-111, CSGNO smart phone app or their website www.crimestoppersgno.org.
