CONGRATULATIONS TO SBSO DEPUTIES ON THEIR P.O.S.T. GRADUATION
Five St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies graduated May 5 from the Peace Officers Standards and Training, or P.O.S.T., police academy held at the Slidell Regional Police Academy.
Congratulations to graduates: Dep. Seth Kuchler, Dep. Noelle Leon, Dep. Austin Savoie, Dep. Michael Delise and Dep. Destiny Vosbein.
Dep. Kuchler won several awards, including first place firearms, first place gunfighter, second place highest score on the P.O.S.T. test, second place scholastics, third place obstacle course and the fast track driving award.
Deputies Delise and Leon tied for first place for the highest score on the P.O.S.T. test.
The academy included more than 500 hours of training in all aspects of law enforcement, including firearms use, criminal investigation, patrol procedures, writing reports, driving training and physical fitness.
