CHILI COOK OFF TODAY BEGINNING AT 2 P.M. IN OLD ARABI
Things are starting to heat up in preparation for today’s Chili Cook Off fundraiser held by the C.O.P.S. for Christmas organization at Old Arabi Bar, 6701 N. Peters Street in Old Arabi.
From 2 to 10 p.m. today there will be food, refreshments, crafts vendors, raffles, yard games and more! Judging will happen at 6 p.m., followed by raffle winner announcements.
Wristbands are $30 for ages 12 and older and $10 for ages 6-11 and include chili, hot dogs, water, soda and live music by The Jen. Howard Band from 7 to 10 p.m. Children 5 and under are free.
Each year, the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office C.O.P.S (Caring Officers Provide Smiles) for Christmas LLC helps provide several St. Bernard families with things such as toys, food, clothing and household and toiletry items.
