⚠️Claiborne Avenue Bridge⚠️

According to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), the Claiborne Avenue Judge Seeber Bridge (LA 39) will be closed this weekend to vehicular traffic for repairs as follows:

➡️Saturday, Dec. 14 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
➡️Sunday, Dec. 15 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

⚠️St. Claude Avenue Bridge⚠️

According to the Port of New Orleans, starting today (12/11/24), the temporary operating procedure and closure schedule at the St. Claude Avenue Bridge will be altered to alleviate the disruption of marine traffic on the Intracoastal Waterway.

The revised schedule is shown below and will remain in effect until normal bridge operations can safely resume. If necessary, the schedule will be revised to accommodate upcoming repair work scheduled at the Judge Seeber (Claiborne Avenue) Bridge this coming weekend.

➡️6:30 AM – 8:30 AM Open to Vehicular Traffic, Bicycles & Pedestrians (closed to Marine Traffic)

➡️8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Closed to Vehicular Traffic, Bicycles & Pedestrians (raised/open to Marine Traffic)

➡️3:30 PM – 6:00 PM Open to Vehicular Traffic, Bicycles & Pedestrians (closed to Marine Traffic)

➡️6:00 PM – 6:30 AM Closed to Vehicular Traffic, Bicycles & Pedestrians (raised/open to Marine Traffic)

🚨ALTERNATE ROUTES: The Florida Avenue Bridge and the Paris Road Green Bridge will be FULLY OPEN this weekend.

⚠️ALSO PLEASE BE ADVISED: There will be a Second Line Parade (Big Nine) going through the 9th Ward on Sunday, Dec. 15 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM that will impact traffic on both St. Claude Avenue and Claiborne Avenue right about the time the Saints game ends. If you’re attending the game, consider utilizing I-510/Paris Road on your return to St. Bernard Parish.
