BLOOD DRIVE FOR SBSO RESERVE DEPUTY TONY ‘TE-TON’ JEANSONNE

The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is asking for your support in an upcoming blood drive for Reserve Division Deputy Tony “Te-Ton” Jeansonne who is battling leukemia.

Te-Ton has proudly served our community for more than 25 years as a volunteer, unpaid Reserve deputy, dedicating his time and energy to Keeping St. Bernard Safe, Sheriff James Pohlmann said.

Reserve deputies are fully trained law enforcement officers who receive the same level of training as full-time deputies but serve without pay, driven solely by their commitment to public service. They assist with festivals, parades, athletic events, and provide extra patrols during the busy holiday shopping season.

Te-Ton also is an elected official serving as Constable of Ward J.

Now, Te-Ton needs our help. Your blood donation can make a difference in his recovery and support him just as he has supported our community.

📅 Date: Thursday, April 3
📍 Location: Knights of Columbus Hall, 2107 Paris Road, Chalmette
⏰ Time: 3 to 7 p.m.

All blood types are needed, especially Type O. Advance appointments are requested, but not necessary. Scan the QR code to book, or just show up.

Please join us in giving back to a man who has given so much to St. Bernard Parish for so long.
