SBSO PARTICIPATING IN CHARITABLE FUNDRAISER
You may notice something a little different about some of our deputies this month since the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is participating in No-Shave November, a fundraiser that will support charitable causes within our agency.
During the month of November, deputies who make a donation will be allowed to grow neatly groomed beards – something that’s normally not permitted under the department’s official uniform policy.
Sheriff James Pohlmann said he’s making an exception this month to support a meaningful cause.
“We take pride in maintaining a professional appearance,” the Sheriff said, “but this is a small way our team can come together to help others in need. It’s about giving back.”
We appreciate the public’s continued support – as we work hard to make a difference both in our community and within our agency.
